We are seeking to purchase both existing self storage facilities as well as properties zoned for self storage and suitable for development into self storage centers.
Existing properties should be located in the northeast, from Baltimore to Boston, and contain a minimum of 50,000 rent-able square feet. We plan to continue growing our New York City- Metro New Jersey market as well.
Ideally, existing buildings should contain a minimum of 75,000 square feet, have three or more loading docks, freight elevators (if multi-story buildings), 150 PSF floor loads, and high ceilings.
Development properties can be either existing buildings or land. Land sites should be properly zoned, 2.5 acres or more, convenient to major highways, and service an area with a minimum population of 150,000 people within a five mile radius.
